Share & inspect knowledge
Knowledge is a team asset. Control who sees each source, act on share invites, watch retrieval health, and inspect exactly what the tools can see.
Access scope tabs
The Knowledge Base page filters your library through access scope tabs. Each tab answers one question: whose knowledge am I looking at?
| Scope tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| All available | Everything your account can use right now, across all scopes. |
| Admin public | Sources your admins published for everyone in the organization. |
| My private | Your own uploads and crawls, visible to you alone until you share them. |
| Shared with me | Sources other people shared with you directly. |
| Requests | Incoming share invites waiting for your decision. |
Accept or decline share invites
Share invites land in the Requests inbox. For each one you can Accept — the source joins Shared with me — or Decline, or Decline and block if you never want to hear about that source again. Nothing enters your library without your say-so.
Retrieval health at a glance
Checking retrieval health and inspecting chunks
Retrieval quality is visible, not a mystery. The search-quality health card summarizes how well retrieval performs across the library, and every source carries its own retrieval health badge. A source with a poor badge is a source the agent will struggle to quote — recrawl it, split it, or fix its documents rather than tuning prompts around it.
The Knowledge Inspector
When a retrieval answer still looks wrong, open the Knowledge Inspector. It lists every source with search, and opens a chunk browser for each: the exact chunks — with their URLs — that retrieval tools can see, with load-more paging for large sources. If the fact you need is not in a chunk, no amount of prompting will surface it. Fix the index, not the question.
