What is Axelera Wingman

Axelera Wingman is the AI wingman for building and running AI vision on Axelera hardware: one assistant, one account, available on every surface you work on.

Wingman is one product behind one sign-in. The desktop app, the hosted chat, your phone, and your AI coding tools are all doors into the same assistant, the same team knowledge, and the same tools. Sign in once and your session follows you.

The surfaces add up — they never compete. Start a plan in chat on your laptop, continue it on your phone, and hand it to the desktop app to execute.

Where Wingman runs

  • Desktop app: The full Linux workspace: Agent Dev, Chat, terminals, dashboard pages, and direct access to your repositories and Axelera cards. This is where work gets executed.
  • Wingman Chat: The hosted chat at chat.wingman.axelera.ai, also embedded inside the desktop app. Ask, plan, review, and search team knowledge from any machine — nothing to install.
  • Mobile web: The same hosted Chat in your phone browser. Read answers, manage topics, and keep a conversation moving when you are away from your desk.
  • Hosted MCP for AI CLIs: Wingman tools inside Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini CLI through one hosted MCP endpoint. Stay in the terminal you already use and keep Wingman knowledge on tap.

Axelera hardware and the Voyager SDK

Underneath it all sits Axelera silicon. The Metis and Europa AIPU generations are the AI acceleration hardware: an M.2 module or a PCIe card in your machine, or a standalone compute board. The Voyager SDK is the software stack that compiles models and runs pipelines on that hardware. Wingman sits on top of both: it knows the SDK, it can drive your card through Agent Dev, and it answers questions about either in Chat.
