Group chats

Some problems want several specialists at the table. A group chat puts multiple agents in one conversation — watch one get built, then build your own.

Build a group chat

Create and run a group

  1. Create the group and pick members

Click + at the top of the sidebar and choose New group chat. The create modal opens with member selection: pick the agents that should participate — a reviewer, a domain expert, a writer, whatever the problem needs. You can adjust the roster any time later.

  2. Run the conversation

Send a prompt the way you would in any chat. The members respond in turn, each from its own instructions and model, and each reply is labeled with its agent. Ask them to critique each other — disagreement between specialists is exactly what a group is for.

  3. Manage the members

Open the group's member management to add or remove agents mid-project. Each member's popover exposes per-member settings — including a model override, so one specialist can run a stronger model than the group default.

  4. Tune the group profile

The group profile works like an agent profile at the group level: name, avatar, and the group prompt that frames how members collaborate. Set the collaboration style there once instead of repeating it in every message.

  5. Split off member threads

When one member needs a focused follow-up, open a per-member thread. The side conversation runs with just that agent, and the shared group thread stays clean.
